Add-on
Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) is the directory behind Microsoft 365. It controls who can sign in, which groups they belong to and what they can access. If a user or group is deleted or changed by mistake, people can lose access to email, files and apps.
Microsoft only keeps deleted Entra ID objects for a short time, and it can't roll back changes to the ones that still exist. The Entra ID add-on keeps a backup so you can restore them.

Yes. The free plan isn't a trial. It stays free for as long as you have 10 or fewer users and up to 1 TB of data. You don't need a credit card and there's no time limit.
Basic, Advanced and Business Critical all start with 30 days free, so you have time to test backups and restores before you pay anything.
Your first bill only covers the days after your trial ends. For example, if you sign up on December 13, your trial runs through January 12. Your first bill goes out on January 31 and covers January 13 to 31. Cancel before your trial ends and you won't be charged.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from the VMOBACKUP portal. It's all self-service, so there's no need to contact support.
Yes. There are no contracts, so you can cancel anytime from your VMOBACKUP account.
Cancellations aren't prorated. If you cancel on January 15, your service stays active through the end of January.
We bill by credit card through Stripe. Your payment is processed securely and we don't store your card details.
Your first month is free. After that, you're billed in arrears at the end of each month based on your usage.
Each user license comes with 150 GB of storage, pooled across your Microsoft 365 organization. One user can go over 150 GB as long as your average stays at or under 150 GB per user. For example, 9 users at 10 GB and 1 user at 250 GB averages 34 GB per user, which is fine.
If your organization averages more than 150 GB per user, we offer license plus storage plans. Get in touch and we'll help you pick one.
If your account goes over the limit, we'll email the account owner and you'll have 7 days to get back under it. After that, the account is suspended until it's back within the limit, and data may be deleted if it isn't resolved within 30 days. We'll send several emails before either of those happens.
It backs up your Microsoft Entra ID users, groups and directory objects for $0.75 per user / month. You can add it to any paid plan. Read the setup guide.
