Advanced In-Portal Restore

Granting Permissions #

In the VMOBACKUP Portal, go to M365 App > Restore (Adv).


Select the restore type (Mailbox, OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams).

Grant access by using the code provided to register the Restore (ADV) explorers.


A Microsoft login prompt will appear. Sign in with an admin account.


Click Accept.

Once permissions are granted, restores can be performed within the portal.

Performing In-Portal Restores #

Select Mailbox, OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams from the restore menu.

The available backed-up items will be displayed.

If restoring from a specific date, select “Explore Backups as at” and choose a date.


Expand the selected account and navigate to the desired item.

Select the item and click Restore Selected Item.


A confirmation window will appear. Choose the restore options and click Restore.


A success message will appear once the restore is complete.
